Education:
I have had the benefit of teaching art, photography, technical drawing, and media production at a prestigious leading NYC High school for over 18 years. Before that, I helped start The Bronx’s 1st Art High School, where I taught for 8 years. These experiences have allowed me the luxury of exploring many art themes, etc. in depth.
My career in photography started as an assistant photographer for the Dept. of Health. I also freelanced as a fashion photographer (for mostly small magazines including the Mayer School of fashion). Prior to teaching, I was hired (along with a colleague, the visual artist/animator M.Henry Jones) as a 3D photographer for Count DeMontebello and the Globus Bros in developing an experimental holographic camera.
Over the years, I have exhibited in various N.Y.C. gallery group shows including The Jacob Javits Center, The Brooklyn Museum, 9/11 Tribute Museum, and The Museum of Modern Art.
